of Random Access Memory | RAM 2020

If you're have a computer, you're definitely have some sticks of hardware like RAM and CPU in it, in this post we will going to talk about different types of RAM, 2020 technologies that have been out over the years, you will be able to identify all kind of memory (RAM) when you will buy a new motherboard, or need to check all Types of Ram, and know the difference between Read Only Memory (ROM), and Random access Memory(RAM).
Synchronous Data RAM (SDRAM)
SDRAM, it is not that first RAM used for computers but it is used for modern systems.
SDRAM The word explains itself, it's synchronized to the same crystal that used for CPU Clocking, and any given click of that crystal that make something happen for us, like speed up the clock rate for the CPU, SDRAM is that the CPU exactly knows the number of cycles after which the data will be available on the bus, Unlike previous versions of RAMs.
So, the CPU does not need to wait for the memory access.
It has 168 pins, and two notches on the stick so you can define it by just looking, and it's only Type of RAMs have 2 notches.
The SDRAM speed is depending on the motherboard speed if your motherboard speed is 66 Megahertz so your SDRAM is going to be at the same speed.
Double Data Rate (DDR)
DDR Speed:
So you will double the motherboard speed 1 time so you will get the DDR speed.
Then you have to multiply the DDR Speed eight times to get the
PC Speed.
PC Speed.
You will see the PC Speed printed on the RAM you going to buy or the RAM you already have.
DDR Uses 184 pins with a single notch.
Double Data Rate 2 (DDR2)
DDR2 Uses 240 pins, and has one single notch as well; the
same with DDR but the place of the notched is different, so you cannot
accidentally put DDR instead DDR2.
DDR2 Speed:
So in DDR2 you have to multiply the Motherboard speed 4 times
and you will get the speed of the RAM, and as well multiply DDR speed 8 times
to get the PC Speed Rating.
Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3)
DDR3 Speed:
